Fiji schools project
As you read this, picture a child in a remote village on a tropical island reading a copy of The School Magazine. Recently, many hundreds of our magazines arrived in Fiji as part of the 2013 Fiji Schools Project.
Organised by Shelly Darmanin, and with the assistance of the Australian High Commission in Suva and other organisations, the aim of the project is to provide much-needed teaching resources to 22 schools in remote areas of Fiji. More than 3500 students and their teachers will benefit. We are delighted to have taken part and wish our newest readers all the best as they discover a world of words.
