Marjorie Crosby-Fairall

Marjorie Crosby-Fairall

When she was a young girl, Marjorie would spend all day and every day drawing horses and fantastical creatures on any flat surface, curved surface or annoying brother she could find. (The brothers were the hardest to draw on!) Her skill became so great that in Year Five she became the school's Official Supervising Director of Hallway and Classroom Decoration (and Leading Library Lay-about). Eventually there were no more classrooms for her to decorate and she felt her talents were being wasted so she decided to become a professional illustrator. After all, there is no limit to the number of horses and fantastical creatures that can be drawn for Children's Books.
