Craig Phillips made his first drawing circa 1977, age 3. The piece was created with several coloured crayons and covered most of the lower part of the lounge room wall, extending from the floor to about as high as a three year old can reach. It made quite an impression on his parents who yelled and flapped their arms and jumped up and down and ran round and round with red faces. And he knew he was onto something. Soon after he discovered Tin Tin and Asterix and libraries and morning cartoons. And he has never stopped drawing.
